Art Director - Phoenix Ogilvy (1992 – 2009)
In 1992, I joined as a Commercial Artist. During the 17 year of period I gained experience in working with software packages which helped me in visualizing, and preparing final artworks.
I have worked on many local and international brands such as SriLankan, British Airways, Nestle Lanka Ltd. (Milo, Nespray), Kodak, Ceylinco Insurance Co. Ltd., Seylan Bank, Baby Cheramy, Elephant House, Coca-Cola, Protect toothpaste, Dilmah Tea, Panadol etc. Among designs produced by me was the pack design for Vintage Tea. I was promoted as an Art Director on the 01st January 2004.
Senior Graphic Designer - Almoayyed International Group (2009 - 2011)
I was in Qatar employed as Senior Graphic Designer at Virtual Studio, a part of Almoayyed International Group Middle East.
My work at Virtual Studio involved creation of Point of Purchase Materials for a group of esteemed clients which included Qatar Airways, Qatar Duty Free, LG, Qatar Steel, HSBC Bank, Al Mana, Qatar International Islamic Bank, Hempel Paints, Jumbo Electronics and Al Khaliji Bank etc..
Freelance Graphic Designer and an Art Director.
I now work as a Freelance Graphic Designer and an Art Directorand the following are key projects:
• Invitation Cards, Stage Decorations, Roadway Flags and Programme Book for CHOGM.
• Programme Book and Stage Decorations for Nutrition Programme conducted in Monaragala District.

•Successfully completed a Technical Training Program in Graphic Designing at the
Sri Lanka Institute of Printing in 1999.
•Followed & completed the diploma in E-Commerce Technolog y at IDM, E-Commerce Division. Contents include:

Participated for the workshop on Nature Camp 2004, conducted by Institute of
Sri Lankan Photography.
•Completed Diploma in Electronics Radio & Television Technology at Alexandra Institute in 1998. This course involved areas such as basic electronics, radio electronics (Theory and practice), basic of A.C. mains driven D.C. supplies, fault finding process of sound equipment, TV principles theory and practice and fault finding processes of TV.
• Successfully completed a Diploma in Computer Hardware Engineering & Networking course at TURNKEY IT TRAINING Institute.
• Successfully completed a part-time course in Advanced Draughtsmanship (Civil) at the Industrial Engineering & Business Management Institute conducted by Ministry of Vocational Training and Rural Development in February 2000.
