One of the leading industry experts and a thought leader in social media marketing, Indu has close to a decade of experience in the industry and over 6 years of digital agency experience as head of the digital marketing team at Loops Solutions. She has worked with hundreds of different brands and companies, both local and overseas with every aspect of digital marketing such as social media strategy, content marketing, social media campaigns, community management, digital advertising solutions, crisis management and much more. Indu has been an active member of major community events in the industry. She has been a the Co-manager of Google Business Groups Colombo (GBG Colombo) for the past 6 years and has been organizing various events and been a leading speaker at many of their training, workshops, and seminars throughout the years. She has played a key role in organizing the key Google event held annually in Sri Lanka - GdayX in 2013 and 2014. She has also been one of the main organizers of the annual meet-up of Twitter community in Sri Lanka, TweetupSL for 5 years since its inception in 2009. Having been one of the regular speakers at tech forums such as Refresh Colombo and GBG Colombo since 2012, Indu has conducted a number of training and workshops on her own as well as been a speaker at trainings & events - both online and offline - organized by prestigious bodies such as the Women and Media Collective, Academy for Administrative Professionals, Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC, University of Colombo and Texas A&M International University to name a few.
